Our goal is to develop a structure that combines the safety of a storm shelter with comfort and style. Snail Shelters will be constructed using a structural insulated panel system, built in shop, transported and assembled onsite. With quicker build times than conventional construction methods, Snail Shelters go up fast.
Snail Shelters can be designed to be in contact with earth around 85% of the circumference, improving thermal efficiency and threats from Nature. We are currently developing a working plan with construction details and cost analysis and are aiming to build a prototype and proof of concept in the coming 36 months.Â
Our long-term goal is to recruit builders and customers around the globe. To help people recover from Natural Disasters and help prevent future disasters to our homes.
